PARKING AND DIRECTIONS

Festival Park is located at 132 S. Grove Avenue in downtown Elgin, Illinois along the scenic Fox River.

PARKING 

Parking is available street side and in city lots. The Fulton Street Parking Deck provides free parking and is located north of Festival Park between Spring Street and Villa Street. The Villa Street Parking Lot is also free and located on Villa Street just north of Fulton Street.

DIRECTIONS

From the North and Northwest Suburbs

• I-90 (Northwest Tollway) 

• Take I-90 (NW Tollway) to Route 31 (State Street) South. 

• Take Route 31 South to Chicago Street 3 miles and then turn left.

• Cross over the river to South Grove Avenue.

• Turn right on South Grove Avenue.

From the Southwest Suburbs

• I-88 ( East/West Tollway )

• Take I-88 to I-355 North.

• Take I-355 North to the Elgin/O’Hare Expressway (just past the I-290 junction).

• Take Elgin/O’Hare Expressway to Route 20 (Lake Street) West to Villa Street exit.

• Exit left off Route 20.

• Go North on Villa Street to National Street (Walnut).

• Turn left on National and go down the hill to South Grove Avenue.

• Turn right on South Grove Avenue.

From the Western Suburbs

• I-290 (Eisenhower Expressway) / Route 20 (Lake Street)

• Take I-290 West to the Elgin/O’Hare Expressway (Exit 5, just past the I-355 junction)

• Take Elgin/O’Hare Expressway 6 miles to Route 20 (Lake Street) West

• Take Route 20 for 6 miles to the Villa Street exit. Exit left off Route 20.

• Go north on Villa Street to National Street (Walnut).

• Turn left on National and go down the hill to South Grove Avenue.

• Turn right on South Grove Avenue.

Train -- Take Metra

Festival Park is just a ½ mile (approximately 7 minute) walk from the Elgin Metra Station. Take the Milwaukee District West Line to the Elgin stop. From the station head east (turn right to cross the river) on W. Chicago Street to South Grove Avenue. Turn right on S. Grove to Festival Park.
